FELIX

When we took the property over to start the sanctuary, we were walking around and checking the different sheds and spaces. I opened up this small gardening shed and a cat burst out from the shed. The previous owner had left him behind. Don't know how long he was in there for or how he survived without food or water but we immediately knew we had a very special cat . We named him Felix da Housecat and he is the Daddy around the sanctuary making sure everyone gets along and is so Zen and chilled out, we just adore him! When we first moved in he got into the lion habitat not once but twice and definitely used up 2 of his lives! He was very lucky that our lion cubs were more curious than deadly. He thinks he is a big cat and loves his raw beef mince which he has daily. Felix is also a hunter and finds the most obscure places to chill out and nap.
